Sunday June 5th - Racing clinic at 2:00

Paul Latour will tell us what he does at the starting line to get his boat off the line on time, at speed, and in position to take advantage of the first shift! A short 15-20 minutes, then we'll go out on the lake and practice it.

Leave your radios on and we'll communicate tips and advice to the less experienced racers. I don't know what channel we'll use yet, so if anybody has a suggestion other than 68 or 72, post a reply to this message.

  1. We didn't get any racing off the line. A little group of thunderstorms moved through just before 2:00 with some BIG winds. The lake looked about as angry as I've ever seen it. Roger and Randy were out in the Impulse and they had a difficult time getting back.

The Nashville Fire Department came out and took their boat off on a call, but didn't stay out long. About all they accomplished was waking the entire marina real good.

    Pretty exciting!
