Race Report
By Iain Montgomery
June 19, 2012
Recently overheard at the Arnold home:
Roger’s Wife: “Well
Roger, what would you like for Father’s Day?”
Roger: “I can’t
think of anything I really need…”
Roger’s Wife: “Well,
you have to get something.”
Roger: “How about
a pith helmet?”
Roger’s Wife: “A
what?”
Many thanks to Roger Arnold for spending part of his Father’s Day doing RC! Galen Freeman and the Stevens clan turned out for the amazing June wind and got some good practice in. All agree Synergy looks much better in the water!

Huge thanks go to Paul
Latour and Mike Willoughby for setting a new start/finish line the last few
Wednesday nights. We will continue to
use this start/finish line for the rest of the season.
The new start/finish line is between the third “no wake”
buoy from the north side of Hamilton Creek inlet and a yellow PPYC cylinder. Paul also purchased a new gel-coat safe
anchor so the mark can be set from a participating sailboat until arrangements
for a semi-permanent mark can be completed.
The Wednesday night series continues this week, plan to sail
with us!

Special thanks to Craig
Dooley for repairing the stairs and some paneling on the Committee Boat.

See you on the starting line!
Roger looks like an idiot.
